CS Internship

Transform Tutoring is offering a Computer Science Internship for highly motivated students looking to get hands-on experience in developing applications, workflows, utilities, and API integrations using AI-augmented tools.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software tools, utilities, or features (backend, frontend, or full stack)

  • Work on API integrations with external services (calendaring, payment, messaging, AI services)

  • Build scripts, automation tools, or internal workflows to streamline operations

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues

  • Participate in code reviews, receive feedback, and iterate on code quality

  • Write documentation for code, APIs, and technical processes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members (product, operations, marketing) to understand requirements and deliver solutions

  • Research, prototype, and experiment with new technologies, frameworks, or AI-augmented coding tools

  • Help with testing, QA, and deployment tasks

  • Contribute to improving development workflows, best practices, and tooling

Requirements

 

  • Must be proficient in Python or Java or an alternative language of your choice

  • Ideally has experience using AI augmented coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a keen appetite for learning

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Prior experience with personal or school coding projects is a plus

  • (Optional but desirable) Experience or exposure to version control (Git), REST APIs, web frameworks, databases
