About the Internship

In high school, one of the most valuable levers of growth lies in experimentation, hands-on projects, and mentorship. Interns admitted to the program will be given the opportunity to rotate between 8+ entrepreneurial foci and choose central areas of expertise. These areas, from website design to customer care, are critical to any burgeoning business -- from startups to small businesses. Interns will be mentored in each area, and will apply their learnings in hands-on, real world projects. These projects will give them tangible skills they can list on their resume, for future careers and internships.

Interns work remotely and are paid $8-$16.50/hour during the internship.

Rotational Entrepreneurial Foci

Below are examples of entrepreneurial foci that interns have the opportunity to rotate and learn from.

What is the timeline like? When will I hear about next steps?

After submitting an application, if you’re selected, we’ll reach out within 2 weeks.

I applied and have not heard back. What is my application status?

Our team takes approximately 2 weeks to review and extend interview offers to applicants. The applicant should assume the team is still reviewing an application if two weeks have not yet passed since (s)he submitted an application. If two weeks have passed since applying, the applicant should assume they have not been selected for the internship and should seek other opportunities.

After the application, can I chat with some tutors about their experience?

Absolutely! You are more than welcome to chat with current interns after you’ve received an offer letter.

Get in touch.

In some cases, parents may have questions regarding the internship, roles, or responsibilities. Please only request a call if you have questions not addressed in the FAQ above. In this case, feel free to request a call at the form here; a Transform Tutoring Coordinator will then give you a call to answer any further information regarding the internship. Note that calling on behalf of your student does not increase the likelihood of your student receiving an internship; students are fairly and equally assessed by the quality of their application and relevant experience.
